TIPS FOR LOWER ELECTRIC BILLS:
- Don’t forget to change your filters every 30 days. This will help reduce airborne particles that may increase the number of problems you experience with allergies, colds and the flu. Go to our Air Quality page for more info.
- Keep your curtains and shades drawn on the south and west windows of your home – this could save up to 6% on your bill.
- Remember to turn off the outdoor unit when mowing or blowing leaves. Grass and debris blown into the outdoor unit can interfere with the airflow and decrease the efficiency of your system.
- Set the temperature on your thermostat 2 degrees higher in summer or lower in winter can result in significant savings. A digital programmable thermostat can be set to a schedule is an excellent tool in consistently managing your temperature.
- Get regular check-ups to keep the system operating at its full potential and to prevent costly repairs.
